For us, conscious leadership means asking whether every business also serves the planet. It’s a simple question, and an honest one. We don’t always get it perfect. But it’s the question that shapes everything we do
The starting point was not a factory, but a moment.
During a visit to Exit Glacier in Alaska, what stood out to Kiruthika wasn’t just its scale, but how much of it had disappeared. What was once a 30-mile-long glacier was reduced to a mere 5 miles.
That dramatic shift left a deep impact on her.
It led to a more practical question
What would it take to keep materials in use rather than constantly replace them?
Not as an idea, but as a system that works at scale.
Kiruthika started Cirklo, a circular textiles brand, to create sustainable supply chains in the fashion industry.
How we think about the work.
Material first
Every product begin with what already exists, upcycled cotton from garment scraps, recycled polyester from PET bottles
Process controlled
Our spinning infrastructure has been refined over five decades, Consistency comes from experience and controlled inputs
Scale Proven
5 Million kgs of cotton upcycled 20 million kgs of recycled polyester processed since 2014
Partnership built
We work alongside our partners to build circular supply chains together
Cirklo is backed by decades of spinning infrastructure at ASM (Arvind Spinning Mills).
ASM and KGPP (Kumaran Gin and Pressing) are at the heart of the Tiruppur ecosystem. With over fifty years in the garment industry, they have catered to global fashion brands, forming strong partnerships worldwide.
The Advantage of Tiruppur
Circularity requires more than innovation. It requires an ecosystem. Located in Tiruppur, Cirklo benefits from decades of textile expertise, established manufacturing infrastructure, and close partnerships across the value chain, from fibre and yarn to fabric and finished garments. This enables faster development, better collaboration, and greater scalability.

“We believe circularity works best when it’s built on deep manufacturing knowledge and a willingness to be transparent about both progress and the challenges. We’re learning. But we’ve been at it long enough to know that the work is worth doing well. ”
